Wiltshire Road
Mixed-useThe project involved the complete redevelopment of a site in Brixton, containing mature London Plane trees. Located at the confluence of five roads, the site is a natural focal point for the immediate streetscape. The programme includes a café and nursery on the ground floor with 25 apartments above.
The classically proportioned building takes a simple tripartite form of base, middle and attic, a floating roof canopy and loggias echo details from neighboring tower blocks.
Tumbled multi-coloured brick adds texture and reflects the bark of London Plane trees.
