The site is located between Wood Green and Tottenham and sits at the confluence of 5 roads. The sites prominent location has meant the area has evolved as a focus for commercial activity. To this end, our proposal seeks to create a bold new high-quality local landmark building, which would create a new focus for the area by reconfirming the local centre and re-establishing the area as an important place between Wood Green and Tottenham. We developing an expression for the building which draws inspiration from 1930’s parade typologies to which the existing Westbury Court belongs.
