KLA is designing a new residential-led development of co-living and co-working spaces in a former furniture factory on Hermitage Road.

The proposal will integrate with an industrial estate to the north and as such has been designed as a key part of a wider masterplan for Haringey. The design of the development takes its cues from the industrial warehouse buildings in the area. The precast concrete string courses are tufted, playing with the idea of compression. A simple palette of materials has been employed to rhyme with the existing factory buildings.
